    ridiculous ML
This review contains spoilers. the ML is unbelievable - he loved her and knew that she loved him but tried to push her away. even though their marriage wasn’t recognized, he just gave up on doing anything about it. so what if they’re not married? hurt her heart for no good reason.

The feeling of impending doom that the author fostered chapter by chapter was a bit much. we get it, you don’t have to make it foreboding all the time, the impact is lessened by the constant foreshadowing.

    No frills
This review contains spoilers. basically the title and nothing else. no character development or anything. it’s like someone came up with a concept and left it at that. you don’t even get to see their happy life afterwards. the servant having a penchant for technology was a means to exposing the cheating but has no other importance since the story ends there.

    Art style changes midway
Can’t say I’m happy with the change in artist/art style after the first 20ish chapters. It’s a clear step down. Wonky faces, super thick lines, ugly dresses and hairstyles, the same blank expression on the male characters’ faces.

All the recurring male characters have played around with women in the past, even the ML. Kind of a letdown.

    short and basic
This review contains spoilers. It’s something, that’s for sure. If you want to read a barebones story with lewd scenes, this is the one. Miscommunication/lack of communication is the main driver to the story. The source material is a novel, so it’s possible this manga adaptation just didn’t do it justice. The characterization is weak, and there’s hardly any development or maturing. The FL is in love with the prince and gets swept up by the momentum, except in one scene at the end when she stands her ground. Might as well be a doormat. The ML is somewhat forceful and a tease; setting aside that the FL is indeed naive, the opening scene where he basically calls her a kid while other attendees laugh at her comes off too mean-spirited.

The lack of communication but expecting her to be in the know - if you wanna marry the girl, can’t you at least propose? Her brother not explaining anything either didn’t help.

Based on the title, you can already tell the two main characters will end up together so when the possibility is presented that the ML might be engaged to the FL’s best friend has low plausibility and stakes. You could see from a mile away the best friend was going to be marrying the brother from the secrecy.

    wholesome
This review contains spoilers. nice to see the prince gradually fall in love with the princess. the love triangles weren’t too serious, which I appreciate. too bad we didn’t get to see the lady in waiting and knight get together or the aide have his own romance.

    wholesome
Quite the wholesome story, though how it started was a little questionable - not sure what the male lead was thinking to take a drunk woman to his hotel room if he had pure intentions. Could have found a waiting room or somewhere else for her to sober up, considering it was a hotel/wedding venue. The ex-fiancé thing was introduced but didn’t really go anywhere, only served to make the female lead insecure. If there was exposition about his background, it would have had more meaning. Even more about why the FL loves tea would have been good.

    Same stuff every chapter
This review contains spoilers. Read up to the free chapters with premium (ch13). Not an interesting enough story to spend money on. Every chapter is the same formula, main character cheats with his brother’s girlfriend. Just when you think they can be together because the original pair break up, nope - they get back together. But maybe that’s why they didn’t even give a clear explanation as to why they broke up in the first place. With how much the brother steps out to work, I half-expected him to be cheating too.

    Too short
Wish there was more content, especially for $2.60 per chapter. Couldn’t help making the micro transactions because the set up was too enticing. Not a bad story but it would have been nice if it had more development, both in plot and character. Like if the newbie journalist actually pushed out some articles instead of not showing any growth in her job.

    basic story
Surprised that the boss was just a concierge and not a CEO or some higher up since that’s how these usually go. It’s a nice change of pace.

If she never happened to walk in on him napping, would he have still realized she was the girl from back then? The circumstances in how they get together are kind of meh.

    Good and bad
Nice change of pace with a man getting isekai-ed into a romance game. Love that the main characters are so in love with each other. I appreciate that the male lead has a friend of the same gender, which can’t be said for many mainstream manga or novels that make it to an anime adaptation. He’s your typical Gary Stu though, way overpowered and never struggles in a fight. As of ch18, no character development to be witnessed - kind of hard when they make the main character flawless. The writing is a bit obvious that the story is leading up to a battle between the MC and last boss, in which he’ll use his fancy sword to defeat the enemy and then live happily every after with his wife.

    Cute ML!
Nice that they didn’t go too far with the love triangle. A good read, I wish there was more content.

    Cute
My only complaint is that the sporty lead says that the ML should already know about his romantic feelings for the ML. Zero points for effective communication.

    Strange writing and political plot
This review contains spoilers. Starts off very stereotypical “prince breaking off the engagement with little thought for consequences” and immediately justifies the FL. The marrying cousins and such mirrors history but they take it a bit far with the obsessive, incestuous vibes. If there was a time for exposition, the soulmates thing would have been it. But no, you have to piece it together and there’s not even enough context/dialogue to understand the in-world concept. The FL is a nigh flawless royal, which makes her character distant and hard to connect with. Hard to tell what kind of message the author is trying to convey with the storyline.

    Short and wholesome
This review contains spoilers. Aside from a few nasty old guys that try to take advantage of the sub, a short and wholesome story. The dom is a major green flag.
